Baby Jensen

His mom labored long and hard to bring him into the world.  Her first child.  The first grandson in the family.  But finally he came – tiny and perfect.   And he had three generations of relatives waiting to welcome him.  I was on pins and needles until I got a photo text of his precious face  sometime in the evening.  With a fireman as a father and a photographer as a mother, he’s in for a fun (and well-documented) childhood.  And we love him.

Welcome, Jensen.  We’ve been waiting for you.

Four generations:

With mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa, and great-grandma:

He and cousin Lily are the best of pals already:

We did morning family photos in the park, and then took a break for a quick lunch.  I wanted to do a full newborn session, but I had about 15 minutes before I had to leave for the airport, so this will have to do:

Awww! My baby is sooo cute! :) You did a great job Jenika! I’m glad someone felt good enough to take all those newborn pictures! He has already changed so much!! He’s now a chubby 6 week old, I’m glad I have those pictures when he was a skinny, tiny baby! Thanks for doing that for us! Priceless pictures! And when I get my new camera,I’m going to have to take some lessons from you!!!
